When assessments are used in an organization, they often don’t give a complete picture of an individual.


The Affective (the part of the mind that governs our preferences, passions, feelings, and desires) and Cognitive (the part of the mind that indicates our skills, intellect, and training) are often assessed but leave a clear gap in seeing the total picture. In addition, both the affective and cognitive parts of the mind are known to change over time.


On the other hand, the Conative is the part of the mind that governs our striving instincts, our natural performance

style. It’s our natural way of problem solving when free to be ourselves, and it doesn’t change over time.
